Evolution House’s goal is to create a recovery culture that inspires freedom from active addiction.
We work very hard to maintain a brotherhood in the house of supportive and unwavering honesty with one another. This bond is forged by having first-hand knowledge of the horrors of addiction. This level of compassion and accountability is the cornerstone of Evolution House.

WHAT MAKES EVOLUTION HOUSE DIFFERENT?
PEER LEADERS
Each residence has peer leaders who live in the house and have at least one year clean & sober.
ACCOUNTABLITY
We focus on progress and check in on sponsorship, step work, service commitments, meeting attendance and house chores. These are mandatory and individuals must be progressing to stay in the house. We also perform weekly and random drug testing.
ENVIRONMENT
Creating a physical living environment where people feel special, is our specialty. With our background in interior design and construction, we remodel and furnish each of the residences with upscale and mindful design choices. For example, hardwood floors, granite countertops, and TV's in every room.
BROTHERHOOD
We work hard to maintain the genuine feeling of comradery and brotherhood in the houses. We plan mandatory house activities and events every few months. Sometimes we do things like play laser tag, or have a cookout.
GROUP THERAPY
Our weekly house meetings are a huge part of our success. We help individuals develop meaningful goals and work towards them. We also facilitate the healthy discussion of resentments and conflict resolution and walk them through issues they are having.
12-STEP CENTERED
Those of us at Evo House who have recovered have done so through 12-step based programs. This is what we know works. Never have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path.

Substance abuse takes people from all walks of society to extreme levels of degradation and demoralization.
As the manifestation of a mental illness, it has caused much havoc in their lives. A lot of care and healing is required to help them begin a “normal” life, which encompasses a complete mental and spiritual overhaul. We have helped a wide range of people from a physician trying to save his life and his license, to people who are literally homeless.
NOT JUST A SOBER PLACE TO LIVE
We require honest self-appraisal and a commitment to a recovery lifestyle. We live lives of service and integrity. You will be asked to be involved in activities that will rebuild self-esteem and accountability, such as finding a job, maintenance and upkeep of your house, going to school, volunteering outside the residence, caregiving, creative ventures, social events, and physical activities. These things combined with a strong focus on 12-step recovery will lay the groundwork to a whole new life.

Evolution House will help you in the development of a strong foundation. We all encourage each other to grow in recovery and at some point help our residents to come up with a strategy to exit the recovery residence successfully. We generally have seen the greatest success when members spend 1 year in the house. Evolution's deepest desire is for our residents to go on to lead exceptional lives and continue to seek out opportunities to change the world around them in a positive way.
